The B.C. Family Day weekend at Big White Ski Resort was a huge success with perfect bluebird conditions, packed family-friendly events and 1,191 B.C. residents taking advantage of the 50 per cent off lift tickets on the holiday Monday.

害羞草研究所淚t was a beautiful weekend with lots of families and beginners out enjoying the sunshine,害羞草研究所� said Josh Foster, director of snow sports for Big White Ski Resort Ltd. 害羞草研究所淭here were 344 first-time skiers and snowboarders, of all ages, from all over the province that took advantage of our discover package (for new skiers).

Special events throughout the weekend included a Lip Sync Battle in the Village Centre, Family Channel Carnival Night, a special Outdoor Kids Carnival on B.C. Family Day and a Season Passholder Appreciation Ski Through BBQ, where 1,565 hot dogs were grilled and given away over two hours.

With B.C. Family Day being moved to the third weekend in February in 2019, this was the last weekend for Big White to celebrate with BC families, but the resort says it will find another way to honour BC families throughout the season.
