Twelve families were handed keys to their brand new Habitat for Humanity built homes in Lake Country on Aug. 24. 

"Today isn害羞草研究所檛 just about handing over keys," said Habitat for Humanity Okanagan CEO Andrea Manifold. "It害羞草研究所檚 about empowering families with a strong foundation for their future. This moment reflects the power of community and the lasting impact a secure home has on creating stability and hope for these families and their children."

The organization is helping to address affordable housing shortages across the province. 

These new homes were made possible with support from the federal government.
