Canadian literary great Margaret Atwood is writing a sequel to her internationally renowned dystopian novel 害羞草研究所淭he Handmaid害羞草研究所檚 Tale.害羞草研究所�

Publisher McClelland and Stewart says it will publish 害羞草研究所淭he Testaments害羞草研究所� on Sept. 10, 2019.

害羞草研究所淭he Handmaid害羞草研究所檚 Tale害羞草研究所� was published in 1985 and won a Governor General害羞草研究所檚 Award.

The story, about a totalitarian society in which women are a property of the state, was adapted last year into an Emmy Award-winning series.

Offred, played by Elisabeth Moss in the television series, is a 害羞草研究所渉andmaid害羞草研究所� forced to bear children for infertile couples.
