Join concertgoers enjoying Music in the Park every Friday night at West Kelowna害羞草研究所檚 Memorial Park.
Westbank Country Opry hits the stage this week on Aug. 11.
The band formed in 1995 to provide local musicians with a venue for presenting their music to like-minded individuals in the community, according to a West Kelowna release.
Over the years, the Opry has added new artists to each performance as well as maintained a roster of regular favourites 害羞草研究所� offering a mix of new and traditional music.
The Westbank Country Opry is headlining the show and features Beamer Wigley with singing partner Abby Stewart starting at 6:40 p.m.
Free, family friendly Music in the Park concerts take place every Friday night from 6:40 p.m. to 9 through Aug. 25 at Memorial Park, adjacent to Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre.
Music lovers will enjoy a variety of genres including country, pop, classical, and more.West Kelowna Recreation staff will be in the park hosting games and activities for the kids. A food and beverage vendor will be operating during the concerts.
