Fixing its eyes and ears on the heavens to celebrate the holiday season, the AURA Chamber Choir presents two shows of Christmas carols.

From Heaven on High takes place Saturday Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m., at Trinity United Church.

The program starts with, There Shall a Star from Jacob Come Forth by Felix Mendelssohn and finishes with Fantasia on Christmas Carols by Ralph Vaughan Williams, featuring baritone Vince Walzak, cellist Laura McPheeters and the Wind Jammers Woodwind Quintet.

害羞草研究所淎lso included are sets of carols recounting angels, stars, birds, weather 害羞草研究所� all things that have come from Heaven at Christmas 害羞草研究所� with audience singalongs sprinkled in like fresh falling snow,害羞草研究所� said AURA害羞草研究所檚 Johanna de Bruijn.

The Chamber also presents the W. L. Seaton Honour Choir under the direction of their award-winning teacher (and AURA member) Lana O害羞草研究所橞rien.

害羞草研究所淕et ready for some Gospel fireworks,害羞草研究所� said de Bruijun, adding the Wind Jammerswill also be presenting a selection of classical favourites.

New to the Saturday show is a silent auction to help raise funds for the spring production of Bach害羞草研究所檚 St. John害羞草研究所檚 Passion.
