Something witchy stirred up Halloween fun for Desert Cove Estates residents over the weekend.
A group of nine ladies, dressed in their finest pointy hats, treated 70 seniors and friends to the Witches Dance Saturday.
害羞草研究所淭he Witch Dance is a choreographed dance, first performed in 2016 by the women of Wolfshager Hexenbrut (in English; The Wolf Hunter害羞草研究所檚 Coven), located in Wolfshagen in Harz, Germany,害羞草研究所 explains Nadine Langford, one of the broom-wielding witches. 害羞草研究所淭he witches dance has origins in Walpurgis Night, an April holiday that doubles as a second Halloween for many Germans.

This year, Debbie Reeves took the reins and led the witches with several practices, lots of laughing and even more cackling.
Reeves and Langford were joined by Sandi Cole, Marion Baumann, Wendie Voss, Denise Harper, Patricia Reid-Knelsen, Roxie Bateman and Kathy Burwell.
A Witches Tea was also served up, alongside finger sandwiches and homemade Halloween deserts provided by all the witches.
