1 arrested as Kelowna RCMP recover stolen boat, marine batteries, more

Kelowna RCMP took a man into custody on Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 11) after reports of a stolen aluminum boat.

Officers in a police vessel found a man and a woman at the Manhattan Drive Beach access point shore where the man was arrested with incident.

On top of the stolen boat, officers reported other stolen items including marine batteries and an outboard motor.

The man was released from custody with an appearance notice scheduled for a later court date.
