2 Kelowna transit buses involved in crash on Richter

A grey truck was also involved in the collision

Richter Street was closed in both directions south of Cawston Avenue, Monday afternoon, following a three vehicle collision including two BC Transit buses.

The incident happened about 4:40 p.m.

A grey truck collided with the side of a city bus, smashing out a window. A second city bus was also involved and had minimum damage to its front end.

There were passengers on both buses at the time of the incident. No major injuries were reported but people on the bus were apparently, 害羞草研究所渢ossed around,害羞草研究所 according to a witness on scene.

A BC Transit supervisor was called in to help organize alternative transportation arrangements for passengers.

A tow truck was called in to remove the truck from the area.

The street was reportedly open by about 5:30 p.m.
