As we approach the end of 2023, I reflect on a year filled with both accomplishments and challenges in Kelowna.

My journey as the MLA for the Kelowna-Mission riding has been marked by significant advocacy, community connection, and preparation for a future that addresses our most pressing issues.

I couldn害羞草研究所檛 talk about the last year without acknowledging the fires this last summer.

My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the firefighters and first responders whose heroism safeguarded our community.

Their dedication in times of crisis embodies Kelowna害羞草研究所檚 resilient spirit.

This year saw several accomplishments that I害羞草研究所檓 proud to have been a part of.

Hosting town halls and engaging in meaningful dialogue with constituents was pivotal in understanding and addressing our community害羞草研究所檚 needs.

The potential launch of an Uptown Rutland Business Association on-call team, working on childcare issues, and my involvement in the watershed roundtable have been significant steps in addressing urban challenges and environmental stewardship to respond to the specific challenges I heard about.

But there is so much more affecting those in Kelowna.

A major focus of my work has been holding the government accountable for these other issues: high cost of living, lack of attainable housing, and challenges in our healthcare system.

In the legislative assembly, I害羞草研究所檝e advocated vigorously for policies that address these issues, ensuring that the voices of Kelowna residents are heard and acted upon.

Looking to the year ahead, I am committed to developing policies that directly impact and improve the lives of those in Kelowna.

Tackling economic pressures, creating sustainable housing solutions, and reforming healthcare are at the top of our BC United agenda.

These are not mere policy goals, they are essential steps towards building a more prosperous and livable Kelowna.

Reflecting on this year害羞草研究所檚 accomplishments and challenges, I am filled with a renewed sense of purpose.

The experiences of 2023 have strengthened my resolve to serve our community with even greater dedication.

As we move into 2024, I stand committed to advocating for Kelowna, addressing our challenges, and working toward a brighter future for all residents.
