Peachland residents are invited to hear what害羞草研究所檚 happening in the community at an open house and barbeque in June.
The event will feature an address by Mayor Patrick Van Minsel and displays from the finance, planning, engineering, public works, corporate services, recreation, and fire departments.
Representatives from the Regional District of Central Okanagan害羞草研究所檚 parks, dog control, and waste reduction departments, WildSafe BC, the Okanagan Regional Library, and Peachland volunteer groups will also attend.
Activities include Paint The Plow, bouncy houses, games, glitter tattoo artists, and fire truck and heavy equipment displays.
Free burgers and hot dogs are available courtesy of the Peachland Rotary and Lions clubs.
The event is on Wednesday, June 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Peachland Community Centre.
Non-perishable donations for the Peachland Food Bank will be gratefully accepted.
