A six-storey commercial-residential building planned for the central area of the city has drawn accolades from Kelowna council.
The 71-unit project is to be built on property at 1864 Gordon Drive, across from the Capri Centre between Sutherland and Borden avenues.
Several councillors were impressed with the project.

The development contains 38 one-bedrooms, 29 two-bedrooms (including five townhome units), and four three-bedroom suites.
Council voted in favour of issuing a development permit for the project.
