BC conservatives pick former Mountie as West Kelowna-Peachland candidate

The Conservative Party of BC (CPBC) has tapped Macklin McCall to be their candidate for West Kelowna-Peachland in the next provincial election.

A post on the CPBC website notes that the former RCMP officer has spent his entire life in the Okanagan and the past 15 years in West Kelowna.

McCall grew up on the family farm in Okanagan Falls and later attended Okanagan College in Penticton, taking courses in criminology, psychology, and sociology.

He spent 19 years with the RCMP.

On Dec. 7, the CPBC chose Tara Armstrong as the party害羞草研究所檚 candidate for Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream.

The provincial election will take place on, or before, Oct. 19, 2024.
