BC Highway Patrol confirms 1 dead in Peachland motorcycle crash

One person has died as a result of a multi-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 97 in Peachland late Monday night (June 3).

The crash took place at about 9:45 p.m. and closed Highway 97 from Okanagan Lake Provincial Park and Princeton Avenue for nearly eight hours.

BC Highway Patrol confirmed to Black Press Media that one person died in the collision and one of the vehicles involved was a motorcycle.

The Kelowna RCMP will release more information when its available.
