Kelowna RCMP investigating body found at Leon apartment

Kelowna RCMP are investigating a body found in the 700 block of Leon Avenue.(Gary Barnes/Capital News)

Kelowna RCMP are on scene at an apartment building in the 700 block of Leon Avenue. 

Police stated a body was found at the Executive House earlier this week. 

According to witnesses, officers arrived at the apartment on Sept. 4, to investigate the unit belonging to a man on the fifth floor and have maintained on scene since that time. 

The investigating is in the early stages, according to the RCMP. There is no concern for public safety.
