Empowering Youth and Building Bridges: Recap of the Third Annual RCMP Youth COP Camp

The third annual RCMP Youth COP Camp wrapped up at Mount Boucherie Senior Secondary School on May 6.

With 22 students completing the program, the graduation ceremony was celebrated by local leaders, a Westbank First Nation Elder, West Kelowna Mayor Gord Milsom, the school害羞草研究所檚 principal, and proud families.

Const. Rohel Williams, from the First Nations Policing Unit, emphasized the camp害羞草研究所檚 success in achieving its objectives.

害羞草研究所淲e reached our goal of strengthening the bond between the RCMP and Indigenous communities, and encouraging more Indigenous and non-Indigenous people to consider a career in the RCMP,害羞草研究所 Williams said.

A highlight of the camp was the opportunity for students to learn firsthand from experienced RCMP officers.
