Central Okanagan businesses have until Dec. 31 to renew licences

Deadline applies to businesses based in East and West Electoral Areas

Businesses operating in the Central Okanagan East and West Electoral Areas have until Dec. 31 to renew their licences.

The two electoral areas include communities such as Joe Rich, Ellison, south Lakeshore Road, Brent Road, Trepanier, North Westside, Traders Cove, Shelter Cove, Wilson害羞草研究所檚 Landing, Fintry, Killiney Beach and Westshore Estates.

Annual renewals must be purchased before Dec. 31 for $85.

After that date, all renewals will be $110, which includes a $25 late fee.

The Central Okanagan Regional District (RDCO) participates in an inter-community business licence program.

It allows qualifying businesses the flexibility to work in one or more of the other participating municipalities in the Okanagan-Similkameen corridor without purchasing an additional licence for each jurisdiction.

Qualifying businesses must first have an RDCO business licence before applying for an inter-community licence for an additional $150.

The RDCO offices will be closed from Dec. 25, 2023 to Jan. 1, 2024.
