Central Okanagan Regional District property tax notices in the mail

Tax notices are in the mail for property owners in the Central Okanagan East and West Electoral Areas.

The province collects rural property tax notice payments in electoral areas, while municipal governments directly collect the taxes for regional district purposes from their property owners.

Residents are advised to pay their taxes to the Ministry of Finance by the July 2 due date to avoid penalties.

Any questions about 2024 tax rates can be directed to finance@rdco.com. Questions about rural property tax notices, the Homeowner Grant application, or tax deferment programs, should be directed to the Surveyor of Taxes at 1-888-355-2700, or email ruraltax@gov.bc.ca. Information is also available on the .

The regional district does not collect taxes directly, and cannot accept property tax payments.

Property owners in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country, and Peachland must make their tax payments to their local government.
