Commute affected due to 2nd multi-vehicle crash in Kelowna on Friday morning

A crash at Springfield and Burtch is causing havoc to the Friday morning commute

A second crash on Friday morning (June 7) is causing delays to the morning commute.

At least one person has been taken to hospital as result of a crash that occurred at the intersection of Springfield Drive and Burtch Road. Emergency services is also attending to another person at the scene.

While it's unknown how the crash happened, one vehicle is in the intersection while the second vehicle is on the grass beside the bus stop eastbound on Springfield.

One of the vehicles knocked a power box, causing the lights in the intersection to turn off. Traffic is moving slow in all directions in the intersection.

The crash happened around 8:30 a.m.

Fire crews and the RCMP are also on scene.
