The District of Peachland is allowing construction work to start earlier in the day due to the ongoing heat wave.
Permitted construction work can start at 6 a.m. during the week and at 8 a.m. on weekends until July 23 to take advantage of cooler morning temperatures.
The district will reassess on July 22 and notify residents of any changes.
Environment Canada is forecasting temperatures up to 39 C over the next several days.
