City council is moving forward with a 650-unit development proposed for Dilworth Drive next to the Okanagan Rail Trail.

Council voted to give initial consideration to rezone the property at 1097 Dilworth Dr. during its regular Monday (Jan. 15) meeting.

The development proposes an apartment complex, townhomes, and 25 per cent (5.6 acres) of the land dedicated to the city for park space.

It would be incorporated into city-owned lands to the north of the development site for Dilworth Mountain Park.

The proposal also provides a critical piece of the city害羞草研究所檚 future transportation network with the dedication of the Clement Avenue Extension for the entire length of the property.
