Fundraiser for pregnant wife of West Kelowna man killed in crash

A fundraiser has been launched to support the wife of Conor Roach who died in a car crash on June 5, 2024.

More than $22,000 has been raised to support the wife of West Kelowna man Conor Roach after he died in a car crash in Oliver on June 5. 

Roach was the operations manager at Mission Hill Family Estate. 

Originally from Barbados, the young man created a name for himself in motorsport with the Barbados Karting Association. 

In a social media post, the BKA offered condolences to the family, adding that Roach was the youngest champion driver of the Barbados Rally Club when he won the Clubman Class in 2013 at the age of 21. 

The West Kelowna resident was married in the summer of 2023 and his wife is expecting a baby. 

The  has a goal of $50,000 to help wife Kari with funeral costs, expenses of a newborn, and moving to be closer to family.
