Green Stars for Kelowna dealerships selling zero-emission vehicles

Two Kelowna vehicle dealerships were recognized at the Vancouver International Auto Show on Mar. 21.

Kelowna Chevrolet and Valley Mitsubishi were given the Green Star Dealer Award for their efforts in the sale of clean energy vehicles in 2023.

It recognizes new car dealers selling the highest number of clean energy-eligible vehicles annually across all brands, by provincial region.

Kelowna Chevrolet was awarded for top Battery Electric Vehicle sales in the Interior, and Valley Mitsubishi was recognized for top Plug-in Electric Hybrid sales in the Interior.

害羞草研究所淏ritish Columbians are embracing zero-emission vehicles at record levels, and the province is supporting this transition by providing rebates for people, making ZEVs more affordable, and by connecting communities through expanding our fast-charging network,害羞草研究所 said Josie Osborne, Provincial Minister of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Resources.
