June 2023: Woman dies after vehicle plunges into Okanagan Lake

Laticia Watson, the chef behind the carefully curated menu and tasty food at Sprout Bread died after her vehicle plunged into Okanagan Lake on June 9.

That crash happened around 9:15 that night in the Trader害羞草研究所檚 Cove area along Westside Road.

Kelowna RCMP and Central Okanagan Search and Rescue searched the lake and located the vehicle and Watson害羞草研究所檚 body, however, due to challenging conditions were not immediately able to recover her or the vehicle.

An RCMP specialized dive team finally retrieved Watson害羞草研究所檚 body and the car on June 27.

She began working at Sprout Bread in 2018 and helped grow it into a popular location.
