Kamloops RCMP asking public for assistance in possible arson case

As they continue their investigation, Kamloops RCMP are looking for a person possibility related to a fire that happened in the Valleyview neighbourhood.

Around 3:12 a.m. on Saturday, Mar. 30, officers received reports of a possible arson in which several hedges were on fire behind a property on the 2000-block of the East Trans Canada Highway.

害羞草研究所淓arlier this week, on April 4, investigators connected with the property representative and viewed video of the incident captured by security cameras,害羞草研究所 said Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn. 害羞草研究所淭he video captured footage of a man who is known to frequent the area, standing behind the hedges as they went up in flames, at approximately 1:35 a.m.害羞草研究所

It害羞草研究所檚 believed the person collected his backpack and left the scene on foot, heading westbound.

The person is a man with a thin build and wearing:

  • A red hat;
  • Tan pants;
  • Dark hoodie;
  • Black and white shoes;
  • A red and black backpack.
