Kelowna fire crews called to an apartment building on Chapman Place

There were reports of smoke in one of the buildings units

Kelowna firefighters rushed to an apartment building on Chapman Place around 10 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 7) after reports of smoke in one of the units.

害羞草研究所淚t turned out there was not any smoke, probably related to a water leak inside the building,害羞草研究所 Fire Captain Micah Volk told Black Press.

Residents were evacuated for a few minutes while fire crews checked the building.

Any damage was contained to the unit and there were no injuries.
