Parking concerns are front and centre for some residents over an apartment-hotel project proposed for Turtle Bay Court.

A developer wants to build a four-storey, 28-unit building at 11506 Turtle Bay Court at Woodsdale and Seymour roads.

During a public hearing on Jan. 9, one area resident felt the project is not providing enough parking stalls for the number of units.

A staff report shows that 35 spaces are required and that 38 spaces are proposed by the developer. That number will likely be reduced to 35 or 36 to accommodate one loading space.

The district害羞草研究所檚 manager of planning, Brian Zurek, noted the development is currently at the rezoning stage at that all the details have not been fully reviewed.

害羞草研究所淗owever, should council support the development at future stages of review we would evaluate the required parking based on whatever proposal comes before the community,害羞草研究所� he added.

The original plans included 30 units, however, the developer revised it 28 units.
