Lengthy investigation nets drugs, cash, stolen property in West Kelowna

Two people were arrested following two search warrants

Two search warrants executed in West Kelowna back in March yielded a substantial amount of drugs, cash and stolen property.

Kelowna RCMPº¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù™s Proactive Enforcement Unit, along with the West Kelowna RCMP and the Southeast District Emergency Response Team, executed the search warrant after a lengthy investigation into property crime and drug trafficking throughout the Central Okanagan area.

Two Central Okanagan residents were arrested and then released pending further investigation.

The seizure included:

º¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù¢3.3 kilograms of suspected Fentanyl, Cocaine and Methamphetamine

º¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù¢Several hundred pills and bottles of prescription medication

º¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù¢$16,500 in Canadian Currency

º¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù¢Several prohibited weapons

º¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù¢Stolen property including a Dodge Ram, dirt bikes, a utility vehicle, kitchen appliances, high-end tools and equipment along with other items with a total value of more than $200,000

º¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù¢Two additional vehicles as offence-related property
