The BC Wildlife Federation (BCWF) Fishty-Fifty and Spring Lottery jackpot is nearing $200,000 with weeks still to grow. 

The lottery supports dozens of habitat and wetland restoration projects across the province, as well as programs encouraging people to get outdoors.

BCWF wilderness camps and in-school archery programs benefit more than 6,000 young people each year. It also offers outdoor safety education for women, CORE instruction for aspiring hunters, and Learn to Hunt and Learn to Fish online courses for members. 

The BCWF also funds monitoring for Chronic Wasting Disease and independent scientific research on steelhead trout, mule deer, and cougars.  

The lottery grand prize is a fishing boat package valued at more than $62,000. The second prize is an E-Bike package, and third prize is a premium camping package.
