Overnight lane closures on Harvey Avenue, for maintenance of the Dayton St. overpass, will start on Mar. 1.

The closures will be in effect until May. The project includes concrete rehabilitation and repairs to the main span of the bridge.

Lane closures will take place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and the Harvey Ave. vehicle entrance to Parkinson Recreation Centre (PRC) may be closed intermittently during construction.

PRC can also be accessed via Parkinson Way. The transit stop on Harvey Ave. at Kirschner Rd. (Parkinson Station) will not be affected.

The overpass is expected to remain open for people walking and biking, for the majority of construction, however, intermittent closures are possible.

Construction hours are scheduled Monday to Friday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., however, work may occur outside of these hours.
