PHOTOS: Kelowna Gospel Mission gives meals to those experiencing homelessness

The organization will also be giving meals out on Christmas Day

In the spirit of the Christmas season and on a beautiful, sunny day in town, the Kelowna Gospel Mission (KGM) was giving to those in need on Saturday.

The organization was out at Tent City on Dec. 23, giving meals out to those experiencing homelessness. They also were giving out lunch and dinner meals at their location at 251 Leon Avenue.

KGM was able to do this with help from volunteers as well as local chefs, the Okanagan Chef Association (OCA), and Telus.

They will also be giving out another 130 meals at Tent City on Christmas Day.
