Police presence in Kelowna's Black Mountain for person in crisis

Kelowna RCMP are continuing to investigate following a call for a person in crisis in Black Mountain on June 11. 

Police were called to the 1300-block of Tanemura Crescent around 7:15 p.m. 

The person in crisis was believed to be in possession of a firearm at the time of the incident. 

Officers were able to safely apprehend the individual and transport them to hospital.
