Multiple RCMP vehicles were seen speeding southbound on Highway 97 toward West Kelowna just before noon, on Thursday.
According to police, officers were responding to an individual in crisis with a possible weapon in West Kelowna and emergency response tactical teams were deployed to the scene.
However, the incident was peacefully resolved before 12:30 p.m.
RCMP did not provide any other information on the matter.
