Several properties are on a boil water notice in a Peachland neighbourhood.

Due to a valve replacement on Ponderosa Drive, municipal water service has been interrupted at the following addresses until 4 p.m. Wed. Feb.14:

• Ponderosa Drive - 4123, 4127, 4131, 4147, 4151, 4155, 4159, 4163, 4167, 4171, 4179, 4187, 4230, 4260, 4290;
• Second Avenue - 4208, 4210, 4218, 4221 4228, 4231, 4240, 4250, 4261, 4298;
• First Avenue - 4306, 4311, 4322, 4331, 4338, 4343, 4354, 4361, 4370, 4386, 4395.

During the work municipal water will be drained and residents should take measures to protect hot water units or other plumbing installations against possible damage.

Any water drawn during the shutdown is at risk of contamination.

Once water is restored residents may experience air, discoloured water, or sediment in service lines.
