Power has been restored to the nearly 1,200 West Kelowna residents.

Almost 1,200 West Kelowna residents are without power on Saturday morning (Nov. 11).

A fallen tree has taken out power lines, causing 1,182 BC Hydro customers to be without power in the Glenrosa neighbourhood. The tree fell west of Smith Creek Road.

A BC Hydro crew has been assigned and is estimated to arrive at 9 a.m. Power has been out since 7:24 a.m.
