Repairs have started on the Westside Road overpass on Highway 97.

Traffic on the highway is down to a single lane just before the overpass but then opens back up to two lanes down Bridge Hill and into Kelowna.

It has been nearly four months since a truck hauling an excavator hit the overpass on Oct. 3, 2023.

The company that owns the truck was fined early $500.
