Young Kelowna golfers showed off their stuff at the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour害羞草研究所檚 (MJT) BC Order of Merit Series at Okanagan Golf Club recently. 

Christopher Thomson, 16, won the Juvenile Boys Division in a playoff over Tyson Wicklund from Vernon, with a par on the first extra hole, and rounds of 72, 78 (150).

"Confidence has definitely increased and I'm excited for my next tournament,害羞草研究所� Thomson said of his win.

Kingsley Duong of Kelowna finished third with scores of 74, 79 (153).

Kelowna害羞草研究所檚 Velvet Haynes, 12, took the MJT Girls U15 Division firing a 160 total (79, 81) over the two day tournament (July 18-19).

More than 70 junior golfers aged 19 participated, playing the Bear Course. 

Austin Krahn, 16, from Christina Lake shot scores of 66,69 (135) to win Low Overall and the MJT Junior Boys title once again.

Low overall honours for Girls went to Zhehui (Hui) Yu, 16, of Burnaby,who won the MJT Girls 15-19 title with rounds of 71,70 (141).
