After a bye week, the Okanagan Sun is back in action this weekend.

The 5-1 team is heading to Prince George to take on the Kodiaks on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.

With their record, the Sun sit in second place in the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC) before the Westshore Rebels, who are 8-0. Prince George is 2-5 on the season, which includes a 32-0 loss to the Sun on week one on Saturday, July 29.

Additionally, the league announced on Friday, Sept. 22 that the Sun害羞草研究所檚 game against the Langley Rams which was scheduled for Aug. 19 will not be played this season. Originally, the game was postponed because of the Grouse Complex of wildfires that hit the Central Okanagan but now the game won害羞草研究所檛 be played.

害羞草研究所淲orking with the Sun and Rams it became clear that this was the best option based on how the remainder of the schedule is laid out, and taking into account travel and safety of the players playing multiple games in a short period of time,害羞草研究所� said BCFC President Tyler McLaren. 害羞草研究所淚t is always unfortunate losing a game, but front and centre has to be player safety, and with no wiggle room and with difficult travel around any potential solution, there just wasn害羞草研究所檛 a viable option.害羞草研究所�

If there is any tie in the standings, it will be settled using the league害羞草研究所檚 rules and regulations.
