Sports Review: Dach wins gold with Canada, traded from Kelowna to Seattle

It was quite the world-wind couple weeks for Colton Dach.

The Kelowna Rockets captain at the start of last year won gold with Team Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championships on Jan. 5, even though he wasn害羞草研究所檛 able to finish the tournament because of an injury.

Despite the injury, just two days after the tournament finale, the Rockets traded Dach to the Seattle Thunderbirds.

In return, the Rockets got forward Ty Hurley, defenceman Ethan Mittelsteadt, a first round pick in the 2024 draft, a conditional second round pick in the 2025 draft, and a conditional fourth round pick in the 2023 draft.

Dach went on to help Seattle win the 2023 WHL Championship and play in the Memorial Cup.
