The West Kelowna Warriors suffered their fourth loss in their last five games on Tuesday night, falling 4-3 to the Merritt Centennials on home ice.

After finding themselves down 2-0 after the first period, the Warriors battled back in the second period as Felix Caron scored his 12th and 13th goals of the season. The first game was shorthanded while the second came on the powerplay.

Tied going into the third period, Jack Pridham scored just 1:44 into the third period, assisted by Caron to give the Warriors a 3-2 lead.

But the lead didn害羞草研究所檛 last as Tyler Wishart scored his first goal of the season at the 11:11 mark of the third period to tie the game at three. And just a few minutes later, Michael Stenberg scored to give Merritt a 4-3 lead and they wouldn害羞草研究所檛 look back.

The Warriors threw everything they could at Centennials goaltender Beau Lane throughout the game but he prevailed, making 41 saves on 44 shots, 20 of them coming in the third period alone. Justin Katz suffered the loss for the Warriors, making 26 saves.

Despite just one win in November, the Warriors remain third in the BCHL害羞草研究所檚 Interior Division with a record of 10-6-2-0.

The Warriors will now enjoy eight days off before returning to the ice on Wednesday, Nov. 22 when they welcome the Salmon Arm Silverbacks to Royal LePage Place. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
