After Brandon took a 1-0 lead just 2:11 into the game, the Rockets scored the equalizer at the 12:46-mark as Tij Iginla found the back of the net for his team-leading 23rd of the season. Andrew Cristall and Ethan Mittelsteadt collected the assists.
Tied in the second period, the flood gates opened as four goals were scored in a 3:09 stretch. It started when Brandon got goals from Tre Froquette and Roger McQueen 30 seconds apart to take a 3-1 lead.
But just 13 seconds later, Cristall scored his 18th of the campaign to make it an one-goal game.

Just over two minutes later, it was a former Rocket who scored what was the eventual game-winning goal as Nolan Flamand scored shorthanded to give the Wheat Kings a 4-2 lead.
Early in the third period, the Rockets made it a one-goal game again when Marek Rocak scored, assisted by Cristall and Iginla.

As the frame went on, the Wheat Kings would add two more goals as they went on to the 6-3 win.
With his three-point night, Cristall extended his point streak to 11 games and sits seventh in WHL scoring with 47 points on the season.
Rockets netminder Jari Kykkanen made 29 saves in the loss.
Kelowna remains seventh in the Western Conference with a 13-15-2-0 record.
The team has two more games this weekend before being off for the winter break. They take on the Prince Albert Raiders on Friday, Dec. 15 and the Saskatoon Blades on Saturday, Dec. 16. Both games start at 5 p.m. Pacific time.
