NewsAlert: Isles fire head coach Jack Capuano

BROOKLYN, N.Y. 芒鈧π卟菅芯克鶟 Jack Capuano is out as head coach of the New York Islanders.

The team says assistant general manager Doug Weight will take over on an interim basis.

The 17-17-8 Islanders are last in the Eastern Conference standings with 42 points.
