Both the Mount Griffin and Wap Creek wildfires are now considered held.
The Mount Griffin blaze grew to .009 hectares and was suspected to be caused by lightning.
The Wap Creek fire grew to 4.2 hectares in size and was also caused by lightning.
Another wildfire has broken out between Revelstoke and Sicamous.
The .009-hectare blaze is located in the Mount Griffin area. The fire is believed to be started by lightning.
Discovered Tuesday afternoon, the fire is burning out-of-control.
This blaze is located near the Wap Creek wildfire, approximately 20 km from Revelstoke.
The is 4.2 hectares in size and is also suspected to be lightning caused.
There are currently no evacuation alerts or orders associated with either fire.
