Over the last 86 years the 害羞草研究所 has served the Central Okanagan 害羞草研究所� and over the last 86 years it has printed a whole lot of papers.
A conservative estimate puts it at about 8,000 editions.

Vernon Mayor William Halina and Alderman Allan Hassell made a trip down to the Kelowna City Hall to offer an apology for 害羞草研究所渨hat they termed a breach of protocol害羞草研究所�.
害羞草研究所淚t seems Mayor Halina failed to show up at the civic luncheon held during Brier Week although he had been invited and had indicated he would be in attendance,害羞草研究所� reads the article.

Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor graced the Kelowna big screen as the Paramount theatre showed The Taming of the Shrew. The movie received two Academy Award nominations, but did not take home an Oscar.

Fun fact: American playwright Tennessee Williams was born on March 27, many years earlier of course, in 1911. Of his many accomplishments he wrote two Pulitzer Prize winning plays, A Streetcar Named Desire and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof .
