Kelowna RCMP and ICBC were at the Kelowna Yacht Club Friday raising awareness of the dangers of impaired boating and driving as they ramped up their summer CounterAttack campaign.

害羞草研究所淭he public can expect to be stopped by enforcement officers, who will be searching for impaired drivers, both on the lake and on our local roadways and highways.害羞草研究所�

Drinking and driving, whether on land or water, is illegal and punishable under the Criminal Code. It is well known that drinking and taking to the water can lead to dangerous situations. Operators are responsible for the safety of the passengers onboard their vessel and should consider other users of the waterway.

ICBC was at the dock handing out floating key chains with a reminder to secure a sober ride home after a day of imbibing on the water.
