There was minor damage after a blaze at Kelowna International Airport Wedneday night.
At about 9:40 p.m., the Kelowna Fire Department responded to a report of a fire on the roof of the airport.
害羞草研究所淵LW operations also responded after airport staff reported that there was smoke in part of the terminal, and flames spotted on the roof,害羞草研究所 said Scott Cronquist, a KFD platoon captain.
害羞草研究所淐onstruction workers on site, used an extinguisher to put out the fire. The fire department along with YLW operations then overhauled the area making sure that there was no extension. The fire was contained to a small area and damage was minimal.害羞草研究所
During the incident, there were no flight disruptions, and all air operations continued as normal. There
will be no disruption of Thursday害羞草研究所檚 flight schedule.
害羞草研究所淧assengers and staff were not impacted by the incident,害羞草研究所 said Cronquist.
