The District of Lake Country will researching to develop a bylaw to regulate temporary farm worker housing.
The bylaw would be in the best interest of the farmers, and others living around the farm areas, said Coun. Blair Ireland. Kelowna and the regional district are also looking into regulating temporary farm worker housing, he said.
During a regular council meeting, Tuesday night, April 4, Coun. Penny Gambell said she didn害羞草研究所檛 think being consistent with the regional district was necessary.
Ireland said 害羞草研究所淚 certainly want us to have a look at what the regional district is doing. If it isn害羞草研究所檛 suitable to Lake Country, I would hope we wouldn害羞草研究所檛 do it.害羞草研究所
Currently, there is no bylaw in Lake Country.
