Lake Country RCMP impounded five vehicles in just six days while conducting patrols.

On Dec. 10, 11, 14, and 15 Lake Country officers stopped four impaired drivers all of whom received a 90 days driving prohibition and had their vehicle impounded for 30 days.

The first of the four intoxicated drivers was also handed a violation ticket for excessive speed after being clocked going 145 km/hr in a posted zone of 100 km/hr.

The fifth vehicle impounded in less than one week was caught Dec. 12 driving over double the 50 km speed limit in the district害羞草研究所檚 core. The driver was issued a violation ticket and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
