A number of new wildfires are dotting the Shuswap, including one between Sicamous and Revelstoke by Three Valley Gap.
Discovered on Aug. 5, the fire measures .009 hectares but is listed as out of control by the BC Wildfire Service (BCWS), with lightning the suspected cause.
Little else is known about the fire, however, as the BCWS hasn't yet posted any details of response measures. Any updates can be found on the as they become available.
