North Westside crews tackle fire, accident

Firefighters respond to vehicle rollover and a tree fire Friday morning

North Westside firefighters were scrambling Friday.

At 9:35 a.m., firefighters responded to a vehicle flipped over in the 8500 block of Westside Road.

Paramedics took the motorist to Vernon Jubilee Hospital with minor injuries.

And just as the volunteer firefighters were returning to the hall, they were called out to a fire above Westshore Road at 11:45 a.m.

害羞草研究所淐rews were lead by a pair of dirt bikers in the forest area,害羞草研究所 said Satterthwaite.

害羞草研究所淎 single burning tree was found 2 kilometres in the bush. Crews were quickly able to extinguish the flames.害羞草研究所

It害羞草研究所檚 not known if the fire was human caused or started by lightning.
