Police ask witnesses to come forward

Kelowna RCMP continue their investigation into a single vehicle collision late Saturday night.

The accident occured on Saturday night arount 10:30 p.m., when an officer was flagged down by a concerned motorist to report that the driver of a Jeep had just smashed into and was hung up on the concrete barrier along Highway 97 near Loyd Road.

The officer arrived to discover the vehicle, an orange or copper coloured Jeep Wrangler, wedged on top of the concrete barrier and high-centred with its front wheels off the ground.

Investigators were unable to obtain the necessary information from those witnesses, and now ask them to come forward to police.害羞草研究所

The driver, a Kelowna woman in her 20害羞草研究所檚, did not report any injuries at the time. She is currently the subject of an ongoing impaired investigation, the details of which will not be released to ensure any witnesses, who come forward, provide reliable information.
